Free and independent business advice tailored to your needs
The Tasmanian Business Advice Service is designed to support established businesses, with 19 or fewer Full Time Equivalent employees, that have held an Australian Business Number (ABN) for at least 12 months.
You can access up to five hours of free business advice and support each financial year. They can help with topics such as:
- managing cashflow
- marketing
- risk management
- small business planning and small business strategy.
Clients can meet in person or online with a local advisor, or choose to meet any advisor online, regardless of their location. Advisors bring a wealth of small business experience and knowledge.
They understand the local operating environment, customers and markets and they have strong connections in Tasmania’s business community.
For those that are thinking of starting a business, or who have held an ABN for less than 12 months, clients can access up to two hours of free, independent advice through the New Business Support Pilot program.
They may help with topics such as determining business viability, financial forecasting and identifying new opportunities.
